Let me first go ahead and say am team automatic all the way. The pros of an automatic far outweigh a manual shift. A manual is good for fun driving but as a daily? Ferk that shit. Another thing is not even the best driver could out shift a computer hence why nowadays even most sports car come automatic. It’s just more efficient. Then there is this “masculinity debate” of manual cars. Let me just say any dude who say shit like real men drive manuals is an insecure pussy. I get it some guys like manuals but that doesn’t make you any more of a man. Any one can learn to drive manual in less than a week or so. It’s not rocket science. I actually believe most of the manual enthusiasts fall in that bandwagon category. To me prefering a manual is like going for a fan over a Samsung Air conditioner. The only way I ever see myself owning a manual is getting a nice ranch where I could do drifting just for fun.

When you travel to countries like South Africa, Mozambique, Ethiopia etc you will find most of the new cars produced are still manual. Automatics are for the elderly and sissies.
In East Africa we have embraced automatics and created the demand.
