Mark X vs Premio

Nimeenda site flani ya kuuza magari napata Premio inauzwa more kuliko Mark X. Premio being sold for 1.6/1.7M na Mark X goes for 1.4/1.5M. Mark you iyo Mark X ni ya 2012.

I consider a Mark X to be better than a Premio or am I overthinking it??

Ama ni demand ya Premio iko very high??

 niaje @MkunduRandom

Na whats the year of the premio?

Kwa mtu anajua, Mark x consumes more fuel…

Mark X needs deep pockets, that’s the best way to explain.
Actually goes back to ’ resale value’.
Mark x in the Kenyan market has no resale value.
All in all, if you are good with cars and you do not have the stingy mentality, you can drive any car.
Muhimu service na maintainance.

I have never seen a Mark X that retains it beauty. It always looks like it is falling apart.

True. Most mark x I have seen dont look good with age. But this is like the entry vehicle into the higher end vehicles and most people are introduced into a v6 2.5 engine this way and they carried away by the power, drive recklessly and crash. Basically, its like a learning vehicle to people who have moved from vitz into the higher end cars.

Very poor body works… Esp bumper

Mark X…

Mark X has low ground clearance and high fuel consumption i.e 2500cc…higher than a Harrier 2400cc. Premio ni 1500 cc ama 1800 cc. Premio has a higher ground clearance. Naturally, people will prefer a Premio to a Mark X. Even the resale value of a Premio is wayyyyy better. It doesn’t depreciate as fast as a Mark X. Add to that the fact that you will sell the premio faster if you decide to dispose it, Premio takes the day.

In my opinion, Mark X is only better than the premio in terms of performance but most people care more about those other aspects than the performance. That’s why Premios have a higher demand and higher price.

Assuming you are comparing Harrier 2012 4 wheel drive 2400cc and the Mark X 2012 ,2500cc All wheel drive .The Harrier will be thirstier due to the drag and power to weight ratio.
Some vehicles are not thirst as many would like us to believe its only that the models attract a special breed of humans that always tend to exhibit a heavy foot syndrome . These guys are now invading the crown athlete since they cant afford Audi and forester is no longer fun to drive and seems to attract mature people.

TOYota ata nikipewa free sitaki

Isokey , which brand do you own ?

Mark X is a much better car despite being a guzzler…I once rolled in one na I have respect for that car

You were drunk ama?

Buy a mark x. If u want to save fuel stay at home. Most vehicles will be at a 11km a liter mark. Most vehicles you knw. Then for a week for example a friend of mine with a crown s180,in his usual errands he uses 5k on fuel a week. One week he used his wifes tilda fuel was 4k a week.

I have never driven a premio in my life. I have been at the back seat tho

Mark X - high fuel consumption, cheap weak body, very very low ground clearance, service and spare parts much higher than premio, etc - for all these reasons to keep it running you need deeper pockets than owning a premio

utapewaje mzigo wakisawasawa na madame wakuokota IG ukija kumpick na premio ama markX?

  1. Those prices have a premium of 300 to 400k. Ukitaka gari, import; unless impossible.
  2. Mark X ni better performance, more fuel. 4 years ago, it wasn’t a car you would fear wezi juu it wasn’t popular. Not so sure now. Premio you will ALWAYS attract thieves. Always. Guaranteed.
