The purpose of them cheating is a selfish interest because one person can’t play multiple roles or personalities. You have a good beta husband who’ll provide and be a good husband but the wife sees him as boring & predictable, and another badass guy who can’t provide or doesn’t have the stability needed for a family but the guy can give the wife new wild experiences. So the wife gets the best of both worlds
