I remember always tuning in to KBC in time for some WWF attitude Era Action, literally the most famous program at the time, nakumbuka when the signal was off and I had to reluctantly climb up our roof and adjust the Antenna, praying I don’t miss anything important. TV was the smartphone back then, with people selling pirated DVDs and 10bob cinemas at every corner, hizo cinema manze jh… I always managed to find the most uncomfortable seat at the worst possible angle, cloudy with cigarette smoke together with a weird smell.
despite all of that I always came back to it as movie inashika without ever missing a step, they tend to turn off the lights so you can have your full attention on that medium sized LG box as your only source of light, in it was either Rambo or commando with some Kung fu or hindi movies mixed in.

I watch KBC news fairly often. It seems to be the only channel that bothers to report all news from all corners of the nation.
Citizen and NTV are about politics and BBI, things that make me angry.
I no longer watch news for this specific reason. There’s so much going on in this country besides BBI, corona and whatever ruto, uhuru, raila and sonko are up to.
