Controversial former Governor aspirant Miguna Miguna on Wednesday, October 18th, rubbed shoulders with TV host Larry Madowo over a remark he made in the 10pm show he hosts.
The highly-heated debate had a premature ending after Madowo and Miguna failed to agree over a statement Miguna made that seemed to be advocating for violence.
“For a revolution to take place, blood sometimes has to be involved,” Miguna said in part as he was issuing his final remarks.
When Madowo interjected, Miguna sharply responded that he had to be allowed to finish making his final remarks without being interrupted.
“Don’t call me back here if you’d keep on interjecting when I am expressing my independent views,” Miguna said. To everyone’s astonishment, Madowo told the vocal panelist not to come back to his show.
“If you are not going to answer my questions then don’t come back to my show!” Madowo told off Miguna as the two kept on arguing before he abruptly ended the show: “We leave it there then.”
The show also had Senate Majority leader Kipchumba Murkomen, Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo Jr, and nominated MP Jennifer Shamalla as the panelists.
Miguna Miguna is not the first public figure that Larry Madowo has banned from his shows. Two months ago, Madowo banned Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria from appearing in shows he is hosting due to the legislators rasp behaviour on set and disdain to the TV crew.
