Missing PCI Drivers

A colleague brought me a desktop, stating that it cannot detect the modem, flash disk, and USB connection. My research shows that, PCI drivers are missing. How do you install these drivers and yet one cannot access the internet via modem due to connection difficulties? Kindly help.

driverpack will solvs your problems

Thank you @ebbie now the challenge is how to download them as the only way to install something is through using a compact disk. The file itself I can see is about 11 GB.

you dont need any research you can always see the missing drivers.
if wi-fi is working create hotspot with your phone then update the drivers

download from the internet so you eliminate the need to burn a disc. they shouldn’t be more than 100mb.

Thank you for your inputs. I didn’t know that a desktop can detect a mobile phone hotspot. If this is the case, then I can easily proceed.

if it has a wifi radio it will. but 11gb of bus drivers is not real. it should be a small package or you are downloading the wrong thing.

Nope. As for now, I will only download the PCI drivers since it makes economic sense. I’ll bring feedback after the exercise.

Google driver booster iko kwa website inaitwa ion bit or something like than

Alternatively tafuta advanced driver updater kwa torrents and do as above

Apparently the biggest challenge ilikuwa kuaccess net since haidetect modem. But kuna ujanja nimrambiwa hapo juu ikifaulu I’ll try your solution.

Sina hiyo cable kwa hao but nataka nijaribu mobile hotspot.

Thank you Kev, I’ll go for this if the first solution fails.

The desktop cannot access internet through WiFi or USB modem since the USB cannot be detected, the only way to access the internet is through the Ethernet cable. Otherwise you have to get the drivers from a secondary source, burn them to a disk or remove the internal HDD from the desktop carry it with you and copy the driver files to it then come and install it on the desktop computer. Another way is to reinstall the OS, from Win 7 onward, or Linux OS whatever version as they come with all the drivers installed.

You have demystified the whole thing. I now get it why setting up wi-fi hotspot failed.

Hope you managed to sort out the issue…
