Modem ya ocha

Hello Tech guys,
This is my 1st time here

As a good uncle i want to donate my current laptop & BUY A MODEM
Its headed to an ocha place in rift valley

Since its a one off am flexible on prices
I want the very best modem with good speeds kama zuku

any leads will be appreciated

i am not in any way a tech guy but shouldn’t the modem/router you choose be determined by the strongest service available where you need it?

we communicate via safcom

wako na unlimited bundles?

staki kupigiwa kila saa ati “unco bundles za saf zimeisha”

my research kidogo
https://www.tuko.co.ke/288896-wifi-prices-kenya-2018.html#288896
but still need mtu ako na exp

what i am saying is cheap bundles don’t mean shit if the service provided is erratic. like this evening my service provider had a poor service more than two hours. i wished i had a modem from the more expensive service.

ubaya ya kuishi diaspora kitengela/ ngong

unatumia zuku ama faiba?

telkom
ocha ndio kwetu

i just called airtel and faiba

both dont have MONTHLY UNLIMINET. yaani mzee mzima kama mimi nianze kupigiwa simu za kurenew MB kama teenager after every 12 days? NEFA EFA

now its a choice btwn telcom and safcom

Their call center is 24 hours? Anyway, they all have monthly plans.

Staki monthly plan.
Nadai unlimited monthly plan.

Tech companies ni 24 hour

Monthly plans are available with all networks, however if you want unlimited monthly plans, you better be ready with that money, coz they don’t come cheap, depending on what yiu consider cheap.
Most Telcom companies in Kenya are still thieving on the unlimited plans.
While in the gulf, I could get about 500gb or 1tb for about 1800kes equivalent a month.
There are many more packages that if you compared with us, you feel cheated

Sielewi ni nini watu wanaongelea hapa. Modem is that USB-like device that you plug into your device to access net, kama ni speed unaulizia ni service provider yupi in other simpler terms modem ni simu you kuaccess net therefore you should be accessing which ISP to go with it

Its down to safcom v telecom.

Airtel na faiba nimewaweka blacklist

U have smthn better?

Nimepigia telecom wakanishow nibuy mifi

Rift valley they only need to watch news…especially 7pm citizen…hii inawapea kafeeling engine

In a typical Kenyan village you won’t regret buying a safaricom mi-fi. you will get better internet speeds but you have to pay for that, airtel keeps giving me free bundles that I cannot use because of a very poor coverage.

I would say Telkom, I traveled home and I been getting satisfactory speeds via mifi.
