The assistant who worked with Pasteur is the great grandfather of the French man who designed Wuhan lab. His name was Marcel Merieux and his great grandson is Alain Merieux.
The current CEO of moderna worked for Alain Merieux.
The Pasteur family and the Merieux family are the fathers of the science you are seeing today. They own majority of vaccine patents available today.
Louis Pasteur discovered attenuated vaccines. The company Sanofi Pasteur is today the largest company in the world devoted entirely to vaccines.
