This is to let you know that I was really impressed na hio kazi wanafanya hao contractors. Walianzia with the most difficult section of the road, a marshy area at Mikindani Junction all the way to near Mataa ya ndege, and I swear to the heavens, it’s really difficult this section! Wanaoishi Mikindani, Jomvu, Miritini, etc, can bear witness to this.
Ile style niliona sijaona kwingine. First they build the road the normal way, as properly as though there is no other business! Then over and on top of the tarmac, ambayo imetandikwa vizuri sana, wanaweka concrete about 8 inches thick!!! Kumaanisha hiyo Barabara itaharibika mara ya kwanza, kwa taadhmini yangu, after 2118! Haki ya Mungu sisemi uongo!

Tusisahau zile tingatinga zoote na fanfare tulizoonyeshwa pale Athi River eti Athi River to Machakos Junction inajengwa pronto. Mpaka leo hakuna kinachoendelea almost 12 months later!
