Morning friends. Have just received some very good news, and can’t think of a better scripture than this.

Psalm 107

[B]1[/B]Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;

his love endures forever.

[B]2[/B]Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story—

those he redeemed from the hand of the foe,

[B]3[/B]those he gathered from the lands,

from east and west, from north and south.

[B]4[/B]Some wandered in desert wastelands,

finding no way to a city where they could settle.

[B]5[/B]They were hungry and thirsty,

and their lives ebbed away.

[B]6[/B]Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble,

and he delivered them from their distress.

to a city where they could settle.

and his wonderful deeds for mankind,

NIV Bible, Exodus 21:20-21:
If a man beats his male or female slave with a rod and the slave dies as a direct result, he must be punished, but he is not to be punished if the slave gets up after a day or two, since the slave is his property.

Leviticus 25:44-46:

However, you may purchase male or female slaves from among the foreigners who live among you. You may also purchase the children of such resident foreigners, including those who have been born in your land. You may treat them as your property, passing them on to your children as a permanent inheritance. You may treat your slaves like this, but the people of Israel, your relatives, must never be treated this way.

hehe…you conterpoints with verses are whack. Rather than argue, people are left interpreting things for themselves.

Religion thrives on fear alone. thats how it keeps believers imprisoned with no hope of salvation. There are people out there who broke out of that cocoon. Its very hard for a believer to understand the non believer’s logic, and often thinks the latter is ignorant of the said “consequences”
