There are two sides to this coin. The love gone bad would add up if the angry party had hired those thugs....it is quite a long stretch that a pissed off lover to convince what must have been a minimum of two other men to join him in murder. I doubt they would have wasted all that time in town increasing the chance of getting caught...the thing about threats in 2016 doesn't seem to be it they would have acted sooner...Doesn't it sound a little fishy that they had him take the car to a mpango wa kando's building??...they might have been trying to create that impression "love things story"...Tenders sounds like a more probable cause...his car was staged to suggest he was at a mpango ya kando and removing all their clothes except underwear might have been to remove DNA...or to further heighten the lover strory thrill...Those killers are very likely hired coz they even dump the bodies at a common spot that other killers use to dispose of them...It almost sounds that with all the time they spent spinning around CBD there is something they were trying to get Msando to do and probably were using Ngumbu as bait threatening to kill her otherwise...In my mind they probably tricked Msando into thinking they won't kill him or he could have bolted first chance they let him get out alone and make phone calls etc or else he was so scared that he froze....they might
Yeah that might be true. They might have threatened him using Ngumbu as bait and I also suspect they fooled or tried to fool Msando that they won't kill them and were trying to get him to do something not so sure what. Obviously by this time Msando knows precisely why they were abducted...and might have seen through the ruse but the blackmail or was perhaps scared stiff he froze...especially when they started heading for Roysambu it should have been getting clear to Msando they won't make it...they would have to move them from Msando's car to their own car where I suspect Ngumbu was being held and in those CCTV the cops should have been able to identify the killers vehicle....based on footage where both cars are seen in multiple places...this info they might be keeping to themselves to avoid the killers taking countermeasures to destroy relevant evidence...
That depends on where they did the killing. To be able to abduct him they would need something like a gun most likely or a knife and we know they had a knife or something very similar from the deep slash on his forearm . They might have been avoiding making noise because of location. The same knife they used to slash his forearm would have finished him off much quicker than strangling. Either they were trying to avoid a mess or whoever sent them had specific instructions... There was too much activity between them for it to be something random. Its highly unlikely they will find the phone...first order of business throw away SIM Card then go pawn it off.
I doubt Msando personally knew the killers. Those are almost certainly hired guns. Random rookies don't graduate from 0 murders, to 2 murders, and a significant attempt at a cover up. If Msando knew them and the reason for being with them he would likely have figured out he won't make it and would likely have made a run for it. The killers were trying to get Msando to do something and were blackmailing him somehow maybe using Ngumbu as opportunistic bait under the impression that once they get whatever Msando they will be let go. It appears that by the time Msando figured out the horrific truth it was too late. Did you see the incisions on Msando's forearm? They are from a very sharp knife like weapon that would have quickly killed him compared to strangulation. It's likely they might have had a gun/s to execute the abduction in the first place and keep him compliant...whoever sent those guys was really angry with Msando and wanted him to suffer...Ngumbu was likely just collateral.
Msando was probably with Ngumbu when attacked. They pullled out Ngumbu into their own car and the others joined Msando. One thing I'm wondering is why have police given two contradicting accounts of CCTV footage. One about Msando plus fat lady and two men at the back and another story about just driver and fat lady and guy driving back towards CBD alone then going off to Thika Road. They story about having Msando plus abductors is more sensible and Msando probably all the way to Roysambu coz the car was in the same spot he had been to weeks earlier. Unless we want to establish that these guys had been trailing Msando for a long time and knew about his spot in Roysambu.
