Apparently, in the video he can be heard telling Chauvin (his boss) to get his knee off the man twice. But since he was a rookie, I bet he was afraid he could get fired if he disobeyed the boss.
It’s just like that Training Day movie.
I heard two of them were holding Floyd down as he was being kneed to death, since China Man was walking around, the rookie was holding him down plus the other guy, if they had not been holding him down he could have fought Chauvin off. They’re all looking at a maximum of 40 years in jail. Plus the prosecutor was a criminal defense lawyer so he’s bound to get a good verdict coz he knows all the loopholes used by defense lawyers to get their clients off the hook and will have them sealed.
But imagine you’re a rookie who has been in the force for 3 days trying to stand up to your superior (Chauvin) who has been a police officer for 20 years.
Most rookie police will just follow the orders of the veteran. Considering that he spoke against the neck-kneeling twice but his opinions were disregarded, I don’t think the rookie police deserves the same judgement as Chauvin and that Chinese guy.

They will be in confinement. They cannot be put in the general population for their safety. There are some guys in there that have nothing to lose and won’t mind going out in glory that they offed one of these ex-cops.
