Between MCSK and KAMP-PRISK-MUPAKE who are the ones to collect money from businesses?
Guys from both organisations are harassingme daily at my establishmenteach claiming they’re the legit ones.

I don’t understand them, who is who, but my views is that MCSK are the ones who should collect the royalties, but also depends the type of business you are doing…
KAMP, PRISK, MPAKE, are the real deal. Mcsk has no authority to collect, wakija waambie unaenda kuwaripoti polisi for harassment uone vile wataenda mbio, they are just extorting from the unsuspecting.

High Court judge David Majanja ruled that the society’s licence expired on December 31, 2016, and it was therefore barred by law from operating as a collective management organisation under Section 46(1) of the Copyright Act.
The judge said MCSK had been collecting royalties illegally on behalf of song writers, composers, publishers and owners of other copyrighted musical works.
