After a long hiatus I went to watch a game at Mwamba rfc last Saturday.Great game, great location but its nutz that the club has not updated or even bothered to renovate their stand since what one might guess is the 1940s.
Why can’t they hire a local carpenter to renovate their stands, its a disgrace to see such dilapidation in an area so close to the centre of our country.

Kenya is very lucky that Wakoloni left us with some sporting infrastructure. All the major rugby stadia and all the major football stadia were built by wakoloni in the 1940s. Most have not been updated:
Others have only had cosmetic changes.
Only two new stadia have been built since we got Uhuru: Nyayo and Kasarani.
