Nduthi are killing our youths

Najua Kila mtu hapa amepoteza kijana rafiki kwa this bike accidents what shud be done to minimise this accidents ?

Wee masharia tiga maundu maingi

The people who can do something will not, those willing to are unable to. for one pandisha duty ya nduthi, kill it slowly over years, make it expensive to own one.

Start with the hustler kupatia vijana nduthi

I agree with @one-kigongi . Pandisha duty. Or mandate that minimum CC ikuwe 250. You’ll see the bonobo group leave the roads cause 250cc bila common sense = kifo

You hate them till you need one.

Behavior-wise, there is little difference between the average motor vehicle driver and nduthi riders. The only thing that makes nduthis visible is that their mistakes, even minor ones, have life-changing consequences. Boda boda riders need special training in safe riding, which cannot be offered by our corrupt driving schools. Second, they need to be subjected to much tighter controls such that only those who qualify and behave responsibly get to work with boda bodas. A minimum age might also be helpful in keeping away excited teens from the roads. Lastly, they should be trained on ways of keeping their machines in tip-top condition. Most will replace brakes and tyres when they are way past the safe limit.

250cc si ni powerbike, hio itawamaliza. Or you are advocating for natural selection

The only voice of reason.

Mbona all this while, accidents zimehappen magari haijawahi tolewa kwa barabara?
Most motorbike accidents involve overzealous and road-illiterate riders. Educate them, ingrain in them important etiquette, have new rules then you modify course.

Keen observation will demonstrate a simple trend: riders who have taken a nduthi course are more cautious, logical and reserved in their work. Those who haven’t are simply driven by adrenaline and showmanship. That’s where the problem lies.

Watapandisha fare…and I think it’s transport costs in Kenya are Inelastic…watu watalia kidogo then wazoe…

Darwinism at its best

Mboda mboda ni disastrous, huku TZ imekula vichwa sana.

My cousin died through a motorbike accident. He was 23yrs. Jamaa alikuwa amebeba mwenzake wakaingia kwa main road from a kichochoro and there they met with a 40ft trailer. That was their last minute on earth. Nduru za kuaminika ziliarifu kuwa they were drunk

100%

Mimi ata siezi mind kulipa a little more kama safety iko guaranteed

They really just need to figure out how to increase safety

The bikes aren’t the issue, it’s the riders who need a screw tightened.

Nduthi saccos are a political tool. Don’t expect anything to be done about them.

Wacha wakufe na hio jinga wako nayo. Low IQ bonobos. SI last week county ilisema fine ya ndthi kupanda pavement ni 10k. But the laws are not being enforced juu county pia hawana any IQ. Kutoa laws that they will not enforce. Ingekua mimi na ban nduthis countrywide. Ukipatikana kwa bike wewe ni mwizi unakula ndengu.
