I Canon 60D need advice on a good tripod dosent have to be professional, just a good tripod and how much it might cost and what to look out for !

I got a Chinese made one for about KSH 2.500 at a shop in Koinange street, close to the junction with Kenyatta Avenue. I am sure there are many places you can get for around the same.It works well with Nikon D5300.
If you’re not a professional, i think it’s better to start with the cheap ones.Then you can upgrade as you get better.
If possible, carry the camera along and try it on.
Make sure there are no loose falling parts.Extend the tripod legs to their longest.
That it can take the weight of your camera with the biggest lens on.
Also ensure that it swivels smoothly if you need to pan while taking a video…
