When I was in school,I had a dear friend who every day would say to me, the precious love of the Lord never ceases,His mercies shall never come to an end, they are new every morning. And so every day he would say to me have you received your New packet of mercies. With time I forgot about my new packet of mercies that God has for me,for my family, for my motherland Kenya. When Id see things going astray, when Id wake up Id remember my country is still corrupt, still tribalistic, still poor but I would forget that God has a new packet of mercies for that day. When Id fail God or be praying for loved ones and the situation wasnt improving,I would focus on my failure and on problems instead of focusing on my new packet of mercies, available to me,to my loved ones,to my country with every new morning. Incase you don’t know, this verse is in the book of Lamentations! So its not in Song of Songs or Exodus or Revelation or Kings. It was written when Israel was going through utter hell. We are nearing a very complicated time as a country,I submit to you that every day you wake up for the coming days, receive your packet of mercies! If you are sick, broke,in jail,in trouble with the police, lonely, bereaved name it,if you are in lamentions, when you wake up before you think of your situation, before you even pray about your situation, receive your New packet of mercies.Remind yourself, the precious love of the Lord NEVER ceases! NEVER!!! It has not ceased bcz you woke up next to somebody who is not your spouse,it has not ceased bcz you’re HIV positive,it has not ceased because you’re a drug addict and a thief and a prostitute and an illuminati! The precious love of the Lord NEVER ceases!
What is judgemental abt this? If you an immoral life or smoke you will die of an incurable disease! If you drink and drive you will die and kill others. Ubaya wenu hampendi ukweli
This is wonderful and powerful too. God Bless you BIG for this revelation. Sometimes as human beings we may face challenges in life to the point of questioning whether God’s love is still there for us.
Fortunate enough it’s Biblical and very true, see Romans 6:23 Reading…
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Meaning; you choose Christ, you choose life (and life in abundance) or you choose you own pleasure (the devil - unknowingly / sin), you choose Death (Consequences/Hell).
