Govt should take advantage of this and charge more for express delivery.This happens in other jurisdictions and I guess it will curb corruption to some extent.

I submitted mine almost 3 weeks ago, I’m not even in a hurry or stressed about getting it any time soon. I expect it to take 2months at least, even though they claim it should take 15days only. So used to this our country, our failed state, beauracracy, mediocre services.
In other news, Indians in diaspora apparently in the middle east, get their passport renewed in 3 days or so. That thing can even be delivered to your house.
