nigeria cars

they look quite good, the government is also supporting them, army has their vehicles, .Africa has the potential but politics matters more, even kenya can support them by zero rating vehicles made in Africa but that will never happen.

Hakuna tofauti na zile za wachinku na vile tunawaingiliaga. To each his own,au namna gani?

Hey man, we have to start from somewhere, right?

Looks like copy cat ya original models.

No doubt. But si ni sisi tu wenyewe tunakemea china kila time?

siwezimind kulipa 50k

Heri copy cat kuliko Wenye hawana

actually most cars in the same class are almost the same nowadays ,the only different part is usually the grill and headlights, check bentley and rolls Royce
no need of reinventing the wheel if it’s still very efficient.

most Machinery are usually copy cats of the original before they perfect to their own designs which can’t be far off from the original, even tvs and laptops looks similar but different manufactures

The original LandRover 110 design was a US Army Jeep knockoff. They say it openly that they were ‘inspired’ by it.

But look at where they are now with their Range Rovers and such.

Hopefully the Naijas start building vehicles that conquer their own terrain specifically.

Spot on. I’d even wager that these vehicles are produced using brand name blueprints are basically generic versions of the same with localized modifications. There are some royalties being paid to a major vehicle company to enable these cars to be produced as “Local” models but they’re basically low end versions of the brand name vehicles.

This is a huge scam and hoodwinking of the population. What they are doing is called assembly, and a very inefficient one at that. 100% of the parts are imported from specific car makers in China to be assembled in Nigeria. The only reason they are cheaper is because they can enjoy some tariff exemptions. Otherwise manual assembly is more costly than automated assembly. They have been claiming the vehicles are locally manufactured but have never cared to show where they manufacture the parts. All they show is assembly lines. Each of the models they claim to manufacture has an exact counterpart in China but with a different name.

Ah, china man wins once again. I was amazed at their design. Ingekuwa fully local there would be absolutely no reason to not support them. Zile za kenya zinakaa juakali and the price is horrible!

Africans are their own worst enemies for example look at the hate and jealousy in this thread

boss no company in the world manufacture Machinery end to end on it’s own , they basically " assemble"’ different parts to form a complete item, read how taiwan, skorea, Japan,China are intertwined in manufacture of electronics, even cars ,Europe is basically one large manufacturing plant.

btw jueni ma naija wako na mafuta so this means some can drive serious guzzlers

exactly even the bulb in a honda head light is made in slovakia for example. assembly in China design in Japan. etc.
I see alot of envy and ignorance here. For example, a huawei phone. Anza na corning glass, different company, chipset mediatek or Qualcomm another company, batteries, another company, Bluetooth /wifi adapter another different American company . Basically they design and assemble phones. Wacheni ujinga!

I should know that. The issue is that their input in terms of manufacturing is 0%. All the parts arrive ready-made.

watu wanafikiria bmw manufacture a complete car peke yake yet they’ve assembled parts from different manufactures even sensors to make a whole complete car., even simple things like rims they import from italy .
