DP Uncle Ruto the man resides at every Kenyan mind whether they support him or not. Yaani he has already achieved brand actualization before he even gets a challenger.

No pressure. However when I saw him, I just knew he has been drafted back to OP. His insights today was very informative. First the kitaeleweka group fighting DP Uncle Ruto are caught up in mistakes, bad strategy and quickly evolving political realignments. They expected a quick win and President Uhuru to go all out war. Instead they lost Central base, disenfranchised local leadership and now the boss finds it hard to even visit the region. CS have been tasked to be push through projects there so that he can come there just like Tanga Tanga, ironically what they felt needed to stop. You see DP Uncle Ruto was smart to provide three key project areas in Mashinani. Rural roads, TVET institutes and last mile power connections. Those things have a big impact in saving mwananchi money, improving their lives and comfort. Then he is there for all the harambees, funerals and weddings helping others. Lastly those short meetings with leaders and mwananchi builds favour and understanding that most don’t understand. Tanga Tanga stopped briefly and they are still losing. Why the gap was not filled by anyone else. There exists no challenger. The people around kitaeleweka are dinosaurs ex leaders who lost elections severally. People and leaders in central miss Tanga Tanga. Now it has been reworked. He may not launch projects anymore but he has started going to all those harambees again. Will they now ask him not to help the people? When he was been briefed to return to OP and improve government communication, he asked for one confirmation. Has their plans been sanctioned by President Uhuru directly or is it their own doing. He wants to know his exposure so that if events changes, which do so severally, he can know how much burn will he take. They didn’t answer. Government has two communication units. One at state house directly under President Uhuru which is out of touch with people and government spokesperson at OP now under CS Matiangi which is equally lost. So he is still 50/50 on their request. Why? Jubilee Party was DP Uncle Ruto baby. After NYS scandal 1, waiguru and others started that URP-TNA rivalry. The problem was not at the top but at the bottom here. People were trying to outdo each other for various selfish reasons. UhuRuto agreed going forward it will get worse if they don’t deal with it firmly. They agreed and Mama Ngina okayed their plans. Jubilee Party was born, putting everyone egos into one party to give a stronger control of proceedings. Jubilee Party is UhuRuto, if one party leaves, government collapses and both go home. UhuRuto fate are tied together up to 2022 and that is more than enough time for DP Uncle Ruto. Once we even reach the elections cycle you will see a more assertive person. President Uhuru has a decision to spend the next two years solely on his Big four agenda to fulfill his legacy or waste it on politics despite spending a fortune on handcheque. He blew up this succession politics that he is now overwhelmed to control. By the way the Big Four agenda is just that, a headline. There is no policy paper of the same in government. President Uhuru new team is very amateurish. Someone or all of them dropped the ball big time. That policy paper imetafutwa ministries mpaka finally imeuliziwa state house. The only write up is at the Presidency website. Yet it has been at every top paragraph of all ministries work for more than a year. Anyway my point is DP Uncle Ruto is has no real challenge, most is just perception but it lacks any significant support base at crucial areas to make an impact especially because he is significantly entrenched in government, party and base.
