First of all, this is my ideal console this year. I like how you can game on the tablet while away from home and the detachable controls are a nifty feature.
One thing that completely took me by surprise is the fact that the switch runs a Forked version of Android. Which makes me wonder why Android games are so mediocre yet the OS is perfect for portable console gaming?!
Also Zelda: Breath of the wild will be taking up a whopping 32gb storage. I hope it’s worth it.

That is because
1.Physical Controls. N-Switch has them. Touch controls are crap. Most of the best games support a myriad of controllers but people either don’t know that or don’t bother to buy one.

Background processes. The forked Android is running minimal background processes. Your pure Android runs lots of background processes eating up processing power and RAM thus would bring performance trouble on android.

Battery. The Switch is huger, thus bigger batteries and lacks background processes plus a QHD screen that phones have. A S8 is driving more pixels than a switch thus more power is used. The switch also has a bigger battery.

The SP 835 (hiyo iko phone few sana) vs Custom Nvidia (Tegra) processors. The processor of a normal android phone is not as fast as a custom Tegra CPU. Switch has a Tegra CPU.

Storage. Every year, Gameloft ensures that games are just slighlty over 2Gb or under 2GB. That is why Asphalt 8 is 1.8GB still. Gangstar Vegas is 2.5GB. It is not that android phones cannot handle 10GB games but people aren’t comfortable with a game occupying that much… Halafu ita-expand ifike 10GB!!! Saa hii internal yako ni 32. Aiii!

You are wrong. Have you heard of the Nvidia Tablet. It runs on android with custom CPU and GPU. There are actually PC ports that are only available for it as it is the only one that can handle such stuff. Akina Half Life. This thing can emulate the Wii, an emulator that the S8 is struggling with at the lowest settings.
