Nissan Bluebird Slyphy 2015 or Honda fit 2015

Boychild ameamua next year is the year. Savings zimeanza kukubali…

Which one would you advice a junior bachelor to go for as a first car?

  1. Nissan bluebird price is approx 1- 1.1m

  2. Honda fit 2015 (new model) approx 850-950K

  3. Axela 2015 pia iko kwa race @ approx 1.3m though hio ground clearance ni shida kubwa and a major discouraging factor.

My order.

  1. Honda fit. Kikiumana unaingia uber.
  2. Nissan - presentable for low key deals.
  3. Axela - watu wa Subaru’s have invaded this model. Kama we bado kijana ni sawa.

Nime ona honda fit ile hybrid juzi ina pendeza sana

first things fast, why do you need that car? Then How’s your monthly cash flow vs your needs plus on road costs? with the above two questions you can easily narrow down to what you need to buy. average maintenance figures hazijaachana sana and let no one discourage you ati nissan ooohhhh ahhhh anga kii. do proper maintenance as per manufacturer’s recommendations.

Ya ku commute to and from work. At times kuenda home, or kutembea kenya, say quarterly or semi annually.

Cashflow: By the time i settle one one, I should have sufficient savings to purchase and some 300k ivi extra. In 2021, I have managed to consistently save kendu 35k-50k from my monthly salary depending na mwezi. Never gone below 35k. Some months hupita 50k, nikiangukia tudeals.

P.s salary si nyingi, mi ndo najua kua stingy. Though nimeanza kuona nawesa kufa kama sijatumia pesa buana…

Stingyness na gari haziendanishi…kama hio ndio savings per month just put the cash kwa business invest in a good small scale hardware ama electronics shop. Juu figures unaquote unasave per month hio ni fuel pekee. Unless unanua passo ama utafute hio hybrid ya honda na ukue ukifanya uber

True.
With the current fuel prices Kes1,000 is the fair estimation for a daily spend (to and fro movements). This translates to 30k per month not including other service/maintenance costs.
Hii saving ya 35k inapotea tu hivo. Lakini kila nyani kwa starehe zake.

unauza mcoosh wapi @ChifuMbitika ajaribu huko

Chukua sylphy, nice car

I think this is on the higher end.

I know guys with 1500 and 1300 cc who spend like 6k on fuel weekly. Mind you they leave farther away.
My place is 10km away from workplace. I commute 20km to and fro, say even 25. Assuming fuel consumption of 10-13km/l, that should be 3 liters per day on an average weekday.

How did you arrive at the 1000 per day?

Do you have a first hand experience?

Hii ni kama peer presha… usinunue. A car is a necessity but if there’s actually a need. Kama hakuna washana na pia-puresha.

Honda fit 2015 (new model) approx 850-950K?

Wapi?

Hii Fiti is a nice ride for those who wish to have an extra car for runabous. Giving it a thought actually. But for 950k it is massively overpriced. Probably due to pressure from taxi investors.

ua naona posts kwa zukerberger’s place. I’m sure ukishuka coast unaeza pata at a lower price. Why?

I’m with you hapo kwa bei.
Though since most taxi investors are gradually shifting to the 650cc category, I think there will be a downward price adjustment. I saw one going for 820k. Also, hii hype ya the new model ilipandisha bei sana. Same case with mazda demio, sai bei imekataa kurudi chini ya 1m for the new model.

Kwani anatoka Muranga kila siku? Hio hesabu yako haimake sense.

Toyota always

Trust me being a first time owner of a car- huwezi tulia kwa nyumba. Hata nyama hapo nje utakuwa unaendea na gari.

I hope you don’t mind telling us; was your first car a 3000cc+ by any chance? The figures you quoted are just insane.
