Nissan X trail

My Nissan Xtrail has over heating issues. my mechanic has been taking me in circles but he aint offering any solutions. He insist that the gasket is blown but i dont believe him. Give pointers either to a good mechanic or advise on what needs to be changed

@culture kuja na pia unaweza muambia pahali ulibadilisha engine ukaweka ya vitz bei ya mafuta ilipo panda

Why don’t you believe your mechanic?

The guy initially said fan was the problem, after i replaced it, story ikawa radiator cap, then top ya radiator. its like yuko guesswork

Omba kazi hapa, ala

…its simple toa thermostat…i dont know of an x trail with a thermostat…kama yako inayo, its one in a million and no wonder it has those issues

The things mechanics do sometimes makes one feel like the vehicle has been violated.

I took my jalopy to changes these

I couldn’t help but sob inside alilo bit coz it looked like it had been DFBLBHNKN

hapo walikutenda

They didn’t want to drain your brake fluid it seems you are a stingy guy so they were saving the later conversation of explaining to you to buy more brake fluid…he he on a light note…

lakini si unaona vile hao makanika wamefanya bolt head zimeslip,
Use of fixed spanners badala Ya ile box imafaa.
Mayakos iko noogle ilichomelea nut extra kwako cork ya sump ili afungue, just coz hakuwa na the right spanner, zile monkey huwa pale opposite stage, hapo wamefungua duka Ya malangi

Not necessarily guesswork. To fix an overheating problem, we always start with the simplest of fixes before going to the major ones.

Simple ones include fixing radiator leaks, changing radiator caps, changing fans and/ or coolant pumps, checking the hoses, etc. If any of these was the problem and gets fixed, well and good.

Changing the cylinder head gasket falls under what can be considered as major repair and is only done as a last resort. Ni kama ugonjwa tu wa binadamu ambapo surgery is almost always not the first treatment option.

we went with the mech on a test drive today and funny thing is the overheating occurs when there is traffic and i slow down. once i start accelerating the pin for some reason inarudi chini

Happens. Once you accelerate or on open road without traffic, the fan is unimpended na pia radiator inachapwa na upepo so it’s bound to cool down.

mwabie tu anunue Vick’s kingo

:D:D:D I doubt if even your underarm will respond to that. Labda Panadol.:D:D

Confirm direction ya fan

Hmm. I’ve twice fixed such issues by replacing worn belts. Heating at stops or slow traffic.
