No more bottled water in Mombasa

MOMBASA BANS sale of bottled water to tame Cholera outbreak; all hotel workers, food and water vendors ordered to register at county offices.

Is the message lost in translation. How does bottled water lead to the spread of cholera? Ebu D- governor hoho explains that. The ban should be on untreated water like the one sold and delivered by trucks. Lastly if he wants to help with sanitation, then maybe at his 7th year he can decide to finally collect the garbage all over Mombasa.

i guess the recognized brands like highlands and dasani will be available in supermarkets ama?

Bottled water FROM UNLICENSED FIRMS.
My local bottling company is working just fine

That could be an excellent move to deal with plastic pollution and to promote recyclable bottling. For cholera inakaa bulshit.

D minus deteriorating with experience. Kama ingekua ni mimi ningeomba msamaha na usaidizi wa kuokota takataka mji wote. Vok Bombolulu ni chafu kuliko explanation, description and the meaning ya uchafu wenyewe!

makosa sana. mombasa people survive on Dutch water and bamba water,

Only people going for company paid seminars use Dasani. You can’t expect locals to buy Keringet, please

@Meria Mata hizo taka za hapo lights ziliokotwa?

You can be unlicensed but as long as you sanitize that water, you should be good.

Tomorrow coasterians will be in the media applauding his stupidity

According to that overgrown child who still thinks he is a teen, bottled water causes cholera. At this point am sure all the tap water in that shithole is contaminated by the sewage

bado

:eek::eek::eek:

They are using the KEBS ;ist.Mombasa has had many unlicensed water firms. They are the target, whether the water is good or not.

Hii ni sweep.

No its not, ata our own D material Gov Sonko has seen the sense of collecting garbage at least once a week.

@mabenda4 mekwisha kubiashara

I suspect this is the case. I know that a lot of bottled water does not come from the companies branded on the bottle. I normally see water hawkers collecting bottles of the water they are selling. Of course they are just going to refill, seal and refrigerate. The buyers do not know the sanitary conditions under which all this illegal business is done.

There are water dispenser that actually filter, treat and purify tap water. I bought that for 15K. It has served me well. I don’t need to buy this branded water every week that are expensive in the long rum and I’m still not 100% sure they were treated or not.
