North Korea And The Nuclear Triad

Lets first define what a nuclear triad is,According to wikipedia

“A nuclear triad refers to the nuclear weapons delivery of a strategic nuclear arsenal which consists of three components, traditionally strategic bombers, intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs), and submarine-launched ballistic missiles (SLBMs).
The purpose of having a three-branched nuclear capability is to significantly reduce the possibility that an enemy could destroy all of a nation’s nuclear forces in a first-strike attack; this, in turn, ensures a credible threat of a second strike , and thus increases a nation’s nuclear deterrence”

North Korea has been testing ICBMs for a while now and since last year they started testing the SLBMs. Sasa ibebaki tu hizo long range strategic bombers.
When they get the triad capability, watacha kuwa bullied ovyo ovyo na sanctions and the war games U.S and Sourth Korea hold semi annually.
Leteni maoni, is it a good or bad thing for North Korea to join this club of nuclear triad capable countries

Kabla wapate long range bombers itakuwa miaka na mikaka. Their air force isn’t in the best shape either but bado inaweza fanya kazi conventional.

True, pia it will take years before their ballistic missiles have enough range to threaten the U.S or Europe, lakini majirani kama Russia, China South Korea and Japan are fair game. Hawa ndio watakuwa very careful in their dealings with N. Korea

It’s not good because they are planning to attack countries yet they haven’t been provoked.

Technically, the two koreas are still at war.

Nuclear weapons in a country that has a massive inferiority complex, is deathly jealous of it Southern neighbours and is ruled with an iron hand by a despotic dynasty is not good. Besides, while doing that first test and attaining a small scale triad (using hand me downs and stolen technology from China and Russia) it would take years to achieve the capacity and capability to match those of the established nuclear powers.

I usually don’t believe the bullcrap about the Democratic republic of Korea until I see a story by one of their news outlets.

There is only one and it is controlled by government much like KBC in the 1990s. So don’t expect any negative news about DPRK.

The only limit N. korea has is money. Its a very small economy compared to even countries like Kenya.

I always have a feeling China and Russia can never allow n Korea to play around because they would be forced to do something out of the ordinary

The day North Korea put a satellite in orbit it signalled there capability to deliver nuclear weapons anywhere globally. They are good in ICT, technology and engineering on a very limited budget. China is the only country with real leverage against them. Food, power and essential supplies come from China.
