Not all products from China are dodgy

Contrary to what we used to believe in the past about Chinese products, not all products from China are fake.
True we have a river road for electronics in shenzen but equally we have a silicon Valley there.

popular electronics brands like hp, dell, apple and many others actually do their production there due to low cost of production this is why trump is fighting in order for those companies to move their operations back to the US and give jobs to Americans instead of the Chinese.

Low quality products are mostly counterfeits of popular American brands, however, original Chinese branded products are normally of very high quality as well. For instance xiaomi.

We all can testify on the quality of the roads they are constructing

China deals with products on demand basis, if you go and tell them you want cheap stuff, they’ll make you cheap stuff, if you want quality stuff, they’ll give you quality.
It’s our markets that demand for cheap stuff, with cheap, quality is compromised.
However our traders in KE, want to bring cheap quality low priced goods but sell at the full quality prices hence confusing the quality standards…

True.whenever i hear that some traders are suffering due to bad business i get tears of joy.kenyan traders are very very very greedy.i like when they are suffering.

In any many markets if kuna hawa wasomali na natives wanauza the same commodity you will always get a very good deal from the somalis

Very, very, very true. Kwanza kwa earphones some audiophile lied to me I cant get proper earphones unless I spend $100. Well, I spent half of that on Chinese IEMs and I dont regret

The one kra got 49% tax. But it seems to be a good deal I have now paid tax for three items since I started to buy from AliExpress

I hear Doogee ain’t dodgy either.

A friend bought it some time back. He is always daring. And do we call it doji ori dogi?:p:p

Yeah the one I paid 49%. How much you been paying in terms of VAT?

wanesema 16% but they seem to adjust the quoted figure to about 23%

again, depends on what you bought. this is how it is broken down
VAT 16%, excise duty (20-25%) railway levy 1.5%, kebs 800, and other fringe stupidities.

I get it now
