I remember the Klinix scandal. Ny’ongo was caught red handed with his hand in the cookie jar. There was a scandal too in the Education and Agriculture ministries around the same time. What does the PM do? Fires Ruto and Ongeri and leaves his kinsman to continue 'raising funds ’ for his 2013 presidential election. Kibaki then re-instated the two, and the PM once again fires Ruto for exposing biashara ya mahindi between Fidel and Jacob Juma and Uburu’s sugar importation business. Hapo ndio hypocrisy imetufikisha.
The situation at the MoE was quite unique because it was split in half. The ministry was run by two ministers, Nyongo and Beth and there was a protracted fight on who manages what. Don’t you think the two ministers rather than one should be answerable? Why exempt one?
How you found a tribal angle in this scenario is quite beyond me! I am actually lost for words. But this supports the anecdotal hypothesis that most Kenyan migrants are actually stupid people who had no chance of making it in their country.
