Of campus survival

Hello talkers…how did you survive back then when you were in campus interms of academics?..lately I’ve had to part with a large no of my fellow classmates who were either given a discontinuation or were forced to repeat.what amazes me is that most of them are people who i never thought that they could ever be discontinued as they all seem serious in that they attend majority of lectures, always in the library and very humble unlike some of us who are always online even when the lecturer is in class and looks alittle serious compared to them.like last year above 10 students were discontinued from our class and it leaves us wondering who could be next and that’s why I want your advice on how you made it during your campus years

Study, don’t cram

By utilizing that thing between your ears omera…

Kitu ya kwanza …make sure CAT unapata 40/40 by any means…exams ukipata 20/60 uko fiti…

The way you’ve made it thus far.

We read many books.

Degree ni Harambee

Make sure that you ace CATs. Most lecturers won’t fail you if you passed the CATs well. Kwanza make sure CAT 1 umepanguza yote. It is the simplest juu ni topics za kwanza kwanza pekee. Ukiivia CAT 2 na upite poa, chances are you will not float during the main exam juu huwezi sahau kila kitu ulisomea time ya CATs. Hata main exam ukiingia kafua hutapata nunge kama ulisomea CATs poa na ukapass. Utakumbuka vitu. So, wewe pita CATs and the main exam will take care of itself.

All I can say is … soma kwa bidii kijana and you will make it.

Just drop out from campus and hit the ground running while you still can, unless u are studying MBCHB, i can confidently say that chances of securing any meaningful employment after graduation is less than 5%.

high commissioner ya wenye hatukufika campus

Campus ukiweka alot of focus on books utapita mitihani yote but come out disappointed after all that dedication and joblessness waiting for you outta here. From my experience
just be at the right place, doing the right thing at the right time always and follow up those nitty gritties that lecs set up ndo wakuangushe, utamada bila stress mob. Ukitembea hizo corridors ask yourself what sets you apart from those folks you are with… hustle hustle!

You mean 5% in 1 year. It inceases to 50% in 2 years. 80% in 3.

Mimi kabla nifikiwe class yote itakua home.

Party now study later .

Mwakenya.

The problem starts in high school. Below average students cramming and being coached to pass exams. Some got leakages that saw then get excellent grades. Wanaenda kupambana na course meant for natural brights kama engineering na medicine. What do you expecti?
Others are self-sponsored students being forced by parents or their egos to pursue the top courses meant for A students. What do you expecti?

Kuna courses ziko na wenyewe and that is why matiang’i adjusted KCSEE results to allow only the top cream get the As and A-. Hao wengine wafanye BA, Bcom, na Bed, zenye hata ukienda exam room after missing all classes you still manage a pass.

The truth about our course you can’t graduate more than 50 students and so the system has to spit more than half of the admitted students before the fourth year…ukikuwa tu na issue jua tu wewe uko nje

Wewe uko safe…sisi ni watu wa kubahatisha
