At the end of the KPL season, someone came here singing of Gor Mahia’s unbeaten season. I calmly reminded him that KPL was a crappy league and the officiating poor. Often, the refs get intimidated by Gor fans to give wrong calls which result in Gor winning unfairly. Well, it becomes a totally different ball game when Kenyan teams play in continental tournaments. The officiating and level of competition is totally different. Both of Kenya’s representatives couldn’t make it past the 1st round. Bandari at least was pitted against a much more stronger side and country, but for Gor the performance and excuses are pathetic. What football is there in Madagascar?
