OK,he is back..i repeat, the chokosh is back:Sonko Insults and Dressesdown Gov Mutua in His Own Backyard..chokosh wars part 2

Nairobi governor, Mike Mbuvi Sonko, on Thursday hurled insults at Machakos governor Alfred Mutua while in Mavoko, Machakos county.

The governor, who was accompanied by other team Wanjiku members, Kalembe Ndile, Stanley Livondo, EALA MP Simon Mbugua among others did so in response to Mutua’s stunt in Nairobi Central Business District (CBD) over the neglected Tom Mboya and Dedan Kimathi’s statues.

The governor opened his address by referring to Mutua as a “fool and retard” for making a mountain out of a molehill instead of helping his residents of limited means, commonly referred to as Wanjiku.
“Today we have come here to help poor people commonly known as Wanjiku, and if Kalembe spoke in bad faith, and this foolish and retarded governor felt he was wronged, he would have approached Kalembe instead of showing up in Nairobi.” highlighted the governor.

Sonko also took a hit at another governor explaining how they misused public funds channeling them to their family members accounts for personal use.

“Our aim is to bring leadership to the grassroots level and in Nairobi, there’s a lot of money and we believe it is Wanjiku’s, unlike those governors whose work is to pump money into their wives and children’s companies,” he ranted.

Sonko took it a notch higher and referred to Mutua as a conman and accusing him of giving unnecessary importance to statues.

“I believe bringing leadership to the grassroots will enable jobless youth to be dependent and be able to provide for their families,” he noted.

Sonko, however, refused to ‘throw shade’ at Mutua’s wife, Lilian Nganga like Kalembe had done claiming he respects women and Mutua has the right to marry as many wives as he pleased.

He went ahead to claim that if Konza City had been built as was initially planned, it would have been a great source of employment to the youth in the area.
“If Konza city would have been built, many Machakos youth would have been employed. We would have had an airstrip, supermarkets, and industries. But you chose a conman,” he stated referring to Mutua.
The governor concluded his rant by endorsing Makau Mutua for the gubernatorial post stating that he had faith that he would finish Mutua’s incomplete projects.

forgive my ignorance but I want to know if a governor can finish two terms then register in a different county and be eligible to vie. could mutua be angling for Nairobi governorship?

This is not possible. Soma katiba.

Clause gani na section gani.

That’s sonko for you…
Nilisema kwa thread ingine tu…

Makau Mutua???

Sonko’s stupidity has grown exponentially since State House called him aside and told him to cooperate and join the dynasty or account for the massive thievery of Nairobi City County.

Nairobi is going through an identity crisis.
Nairobi tried Kidero, an elitist intellectual who failed miserably. Then Nairobi tried Sonko, a clueless mtu wa watu and the failure is there to see.
36 more months with Sonko. Just think about it. 36 months and no more Sonkoisms. It will be a breath of fresh air, literally

mi huona ata peter kenneth bado angetuangusha tu…hell the guy is responsible for mashida zinaandama FKF hadi leo hii…makosa tulifanya ni kunyima jimna mbaru

Nguruwe

Makau Mutua can never succeed as a Nairobi governor. Kwa hayo machache…

It’s not rocket science. Nairobians just need to select people of integrity, if they are people of integrity themselves

Spot on.
