Short hekaya…When I was in high school some fellas including me had misplaced priorities saa hio uko form 4 unafaa kusoma.Sato siku ya entertainment tulikuwa tunapata the latest passapassa(Jamaican party videos) in dvd.Hakuna vile form 1 to 3 wangeona full version hao walikuwa wanapata teaser pekee.The full version ilikuwa ya form 4.Unfortunately we could not watch the whole thing comfortably.In the videos,Mamas were being daggered on top of trees,on bar counters,car bonnets… Kila mahali.The only other opportunity we could get is midweek during prep time where we would lie that form 4s wanted to watch set book plays ndio tupewe kifungu ya telly.This thing went on for weeks under the guise of watching plays.Sasa pale kwa DH ilibidi tukae na plan tukisafisha macho.We set up chairs on top of tables kama stand ya stadium.The short fellas walikuwa wanakaa mbele,sisi warefu tukiwa juu ya meza to block the view of any intruder spying on us.One Thursday night it was biz as usual, prep hadi 8 alafu ‘Tunaenda kuwatch setbook’ Sisi hao tumefanya setup Kinoti akafinya play.Kitu ilikuwa imeshika tukajisahau…kidogo kidogo nikaskia commotion… People scattering left right and center,kinoti kujaribu kueject the fucking disk inakataa kutoka saa hio tumebaki MTU mbili kwa hall after majudas kutoroka.Kuangalia nyuma ndio Huyo principal na security guard…the aftermath is a story for another day
