Pay-TV network beIN is to launch 24 new movie and entertainment channels across the Middle East and North Africa, according to a statement released on Saturday,
“We identified a sweet-spot in terms of pricing of Pay TV in the region, that has traditionally been over-priced,” Nasser al-Khelaifi, Chairman and CEO of beIN media group said in the statement.
“Hence it was natural that beIN offers latest blockbuster movies, great family entertainment in the form of latest series, factual and kids content along with our premium sports offering,” Khelaifi added.
beIN subscription packages include regional and international football, tennis, rugby, golf, F1 and athletics programming, along with Hollywood movies from a range of family channels.
The new channels will be HD quality.
The company says it is determined to keep expanding its sports, movies and entertainment content. It also expects significant subscriber growth on the back of this expansion. Courtesy of al arabiya media.
