Philosophy: What A Big Lie This Is!

Makes sense to me,the past is gone all you can remember is just memories, some of which are askewed. The future is uncertain you might die while on ktalk…but the present is where the real shït is ,pain, fcuk ups, whatever conjured up thought of making quick bucks gets shattered…al happening now

Alan Watts - A person who thinks all the time, has nothing else to think about but thoughts and loses touch with reality.

Everything is connected to the other. The past, present, and future are all occurring simultaneously. It’s all on the time-space continuum.

So,ile kiboko ulikula shule bado unaskia? What about ile pesa utakula ukiwa 60,ushaanza kuitumia?

Hiyo kiboko nilikula shule ndiye sababu nakula hii pesa saa hii, na ndiye sababu I’m able to have money@60.

The past built what we live now. What we do now will affect the future.

Ūkūrū ūriaga wīīthī (Vunja mifupa kama bado meno ikooo…)

Wueh, kuna ma senyeta uku bana

You’re contradicting yuaselefu,YES we do suffer alot in our imaginations…which don’t exist…money lost, money yearned, imagining wife getting pegged by a nduthi guy or even wanting to shag your brother’s wife. Until it happens…PRESENT…none of it matters. Live for now,its either you can or can’t,thats your beak to care more

You raise good points and I don’t disagree…

But you have to accept that the content and perception of your past usually do influence the content and actions of your present and this does have a profound effect on your future actions. Check out these excerpts from an expert:

Your understanding of events from your past can influence your motivation to do things in your present or future.

Vice versa, your fear of an event that might occur in the future, can influence how you act in the present.

If you have come to understand the world to be a threatening place based on past events you’ve experienced (abuse, rape, etc.), you are likely to present a defensive and guarded stance with regard to your present. You may avoid getting into relationships for fear they will turn out to be abusive, or you may be very ambivalent about being vulnerable in relationships or sharing loving sexuality for fear of being harmed again.

Also, if you are afraid that a terrorist or criminal attack may possibly end your life in the future, you may take defensive steps in the present (purchasing a gun, refusing to pass through “unsafe” neighborhoods, etc., viewing ethnic groups with prejudice) that restrict and degrade your freedom and quality of life.

It works the other way too. If your past experience has been that the world is a loving and warm place to be, you are likely to have a more open stance towards the world in the present which embodies your feeling of safety and acceptance. You are also likely to believe that things can be good for you in the future, even if they take a dramatic turn for the worse in the present. Because of your optimism, you are more likely to be motivated and willing to persist in self-help efforts to make that good potential future become a reality.

Sounds like an IF -THEN cenario or being too cautious looking left and right before crossing the road and a cow falls on you dont ask where the cow comes from :D
The future is like a dice roll ,your shake is the past, your throw is the present and the roll is the future ,anything is possible but regardless of how how hard you shake or far you throw ,the roll is unpredictable but it is there. There is a corelation but what if thats your destiny? The chicken guy didnt think he’d be president but im sure he strived to be out of poverty

Humans inherit a brain millions of years old. But it (brain) suffers from past experiences. Since we all undergo different experiences, trauma, pain etc, we suffer “uniquely”.

Are you kidding me?..I don’t dwell on or believe in pre-determined destiny, bro…You create your own Destiny! :D:D:D

The chicken guy woke up, stayed late, and dreamt while sleeping that he would be POK one day No matter what it takes!

RAO on the other hand thought it was a given for him… Look at how it ended for him…

I believe that. I have no come back but i will revisit this. Usiende mbali

Everything is an illusion. Nothing is real. Whatever you see around you is a figment of your imagination

Not everything can be explained using logic. Some things simply won’t make sense no matter how hard you think about them.
