Before K/Talk Birrionaires lynch me.............

i have a Tecno CX which heated up as I was using. Eventually, it was losing charge very fast. When I charged it, there wasn't any increase in percentage. Switched it off and charged it, the %age was increasing little by little. Now, it's stuck at 10%.
What could be the issue, before I take it to fundis?
Is it software or hardware related?
Is it the charger or socket?
is it the port?

Heating up and charging issues, might be the battery that is problematic.

Cx is an old cheap phone most probably the sub board or charging plate

No. It's not the battery or software, but the phone. Get rid of that phone. Ilinipea taabu sana 2018. Chanves are you bought it second hand or you've used it for more than a year. Unacharge phone unapata imekwama at a certain percentage, na pia ikijaa unashtukia imedrop from 100 to 20 in a second. Nikapelekea fundi nkachange battery and charging port bado kulikua tu na the same problem, ndo ikasemekana nibadilishe motherboard then at that juncture I gave up and got a new phone

Get a new phone usikufe na simu ya 2017 na tuko 2021.

Ikifikia hapo it cannot be salvaged;its kaput ,done..like elders suggested hapo juu just get yourself a new phone coa utashinda kumwaga pesa mingi in the name of repairs na ukiongeza itatosha kushikisha a new phone

Niliipeleka CarlCare Services wakanishoo ni battery na charging system. They repaired and charged till 30% imesukuma 5 hrs. Though I had to part with 2,500/=.
