PHOTOBHOBIA [PHOTOSENSITIVITY]

Was diagnosed with this and given spects, my symptoms reduced but haziishi, its been a month now na mild headache haiishi, nani amepitia hapa, how long does it take?

ulisafisha macho lini? Hakikisha macho iko safi regularly

was diagnosed 10 years ago was also given specs and i still get mild and severe headaches sometimes but just make sure ukiwa kwa comp ama uki watch tv you are on specs,
also make sure you reduce the brightness on your phone.

nilipewa hizi vitu last week lakini sivai.zinaumiza tu macho zaidi.how long does it take macho izoee specs?

Nilikwambia upunguze brightness na contrast if all the screens you use, be they phones, Tv, or comp monitors.

Photo-phobia is caused by a number of things i cannot mention here in details but you should visit an ophthalmologist for further exam. Also make sure your spectacles have a comfortable percentage of tint i.e not to light or too dark. Having them with antiglare property is also very important especially for computer usage

The more you use them the better. spectacles are foreign but you get used to them… PATIENCE

give it like a week or 2 .ndio uzoee lazima uvae continuously.i changed my glasses last week after I lost my old pair and they are taking getting used to

I prefer antiglare pekee because the tint gets darker with time.

The tint variation depends on light intensity. Antiglare alone is not sufficient for photosensitivity

What exactly was the problem? Whoever was making the lenses may easily get the ‘axis’ wrong and mess you up. Was once almost hit by a car hapo fire station while trying out my then new pair and after crossing the road tripped on the kerb. Turned out they’d got the axis wrong.

Seeing as this post is over two weeks old, how’re you faring now @culture?

To minimize this, go for brown rather than black/ grey tint.
