If a thread is not gaining traction after a week, kindly unpin it.
I also don’t understand the rationale of having more than 5 pinned threads per cartegory with very little to no activity.
There is a very clear criteria on how one goes from a New Villager to a Village Sponsor, but all it takes for a thread to be pinned is for a villager to ask the admin to do so, then it remains pinned for eternity pushing interesting topical issues to the periphery.
