You can try Steadmak Gardens on Langata Road opposite Galleria. Nice ambiance and games/playground for kids, heated pool.They also have a small snake/animal park.

Treat yourself (and hopefully significant other) to an afternoon at Hemingways in Karen. It will be a different experience...

If you have a relatively cheaper budget, you can visit Archis stables in Karen and treat yourself to a horse ride. It will be worth your time and you can also engage in quad racing at the same venue..just my two cents as you didn't specify what sort of activities you are into.
