As for corruption, the guy Tobiko is not doing his job. It is his job to prosecute corruption cases for which he receives a very big salary.
if all corrupt kenyans are to be arrested and charged we are talking of probably many mps, senators and governors, many managers / top officials of government parastatals/ institutions and very many policemen

For a reason am unable to watch stories and documentaries that show humans suffering and illnesses, I just can’t.I often find myself pressing the remote to other less disheartening stuff.
When the Indian is your foreign investor, you should expect nothing but more problems. We have ourselves to blame for running down our system so much so that it only attracts the shrewdest investors. The world is awash with low and medium level capital looking for improved returns. However, this capital will only flow into transparent, stable, and predictable environments. If we had a governance system free of corruption, we could be sure to attract thousands of medium level businesses from all over the world, bringing with them skills and better practices, something that would go toward raising our overall standards of conducting business.
I have been concerned with the way some of our county governments are signing deals with Indian investors promising to invest loads of cash in mega projects. In reality, most of these investors will end up hoarding resources in the form of land, dodge taxes through creative accounting, while providing minimum benefits to the people in the form of employment. In such a situation, the county governments are left helpless because they are bound by the signed agreements, which can only be cancelled by compensating the investors.
Our policy makers have been oblivious of the fact that our country has performed dismally in attracting quality investors, largely due to red tape infested with corruption. Our foreign investor profile, mostly made of Indians, should have alerted us of serious issues with the way the world perceives us. Something should have been done decades ago to ensure that investment opportunities in the country attract the best investors in the world.

Exactly, corruption is double sided. There’s the giver and the recipient.

Like in Orwell’s farm our policies are just that policies but effecting them is a preserve of a created quotient.
Am sorry but society will be corrupt or perish.most are corrupt to ’ survive’ but to the bloat of the created super society.
All animals are not equal here and even the inequality is mortally controlled.
i agree that we are also the biggest culprints in the corruption menace. but then the ammount of bereucracy and redtape you encounter if you decide not to offer bribes is so big that you have no option but give the bribe
Not necessarily. Case in point: Goldenberg. Pattni exploited the provisions of the then Export Compensation Act that existed in our laws and was administered by Treasury. Often our own impatience is also to blame. If I told you the number of times patients are willing to part with cash eti warukishwe line utashangaa.
Funny enough though nobody is laughing when you can afford a bribe and it seems to smoothen your flow you don’t complain. The problemo manifests when either the bribe is too high for you or you don’t know who to bribe.
Very true. And when u prove ‘unbribable’ you’re labelled the enemy. Sadly.

If labelling you bad doesn’t convince you to join the club you are done away with either literally or physically.
The club keeps and natures their breed and makes sure their eggs hatch to last of the laid.
