How about teamviewer? Unless sijakupata fiti.

teamviewer haitanisaidia …unajua hapo inamaanisha I will have to disturb the one using that machine when am working on their DB …then unajua delay ya teamviewer hutaweza ku apload huge data kw distributed database.Nadai yenye naweza forward io machine kw ‘port 3306’

VPN then cz utakua kwa their network, u set tns names etc and operate ka kawa

bt hapo i think nta have kupata public ip ama…

What is the system based on?
is it web based? are you connected to the internet?
otherwise you can have a point to point connection between the two locations. Are you the admin?
best bet is if you have the public IP of the machine remote site and you enable access over the internet.
first of all, honest question, what is the system?

its a desktop system…on both ends there is internet bt the distance is not viable for point to point since natumia laptop na nakuanga kw field mostly far frm tao.

What do you do with it? What does the system do?

Who is the internet provider on the other side? Want to know if the public IP address is static ama ni ya USB stick

Team viewer is the best

Is the public IP static or dynamic?
What router are you using? Basic or enterprise router?

Teamviewer is NOT port forwarding.

If its dynamic you’ll need DDNS client running on the router or a client machine. The client will update you with the current public IP. Static has no issues.
You’ll need access to the router settings.
Jibu hapo juu tuendele.

without a public ip you can’t access that db…just copy the schema of the current db,upload your data and make it accessible to the web app
