my meter has the number written in felt pen.
however, it has the following on the keypad cover;
800 total energy consumed
801 balance credit
804meter number
805 SGC number
812 cancel alarm
817 last charge amount

I had tried 001 through 005. Each giving figures I couldn’t understand.
@Wilco. The last time I bought units is nearly year ago. Can’t remember the combination I used to get meter number.

did you try the 804 in my comment?
@gashwin, the 800 series gives null on the interface.
Triple zero gives these digits 371250- 2489-5. Might it be the one.
at least kpc call centre is open now if account is in your name & ID no./previously paid for from your phone they should help you get the number…

The ones who installed the unit should have put a sticker with the metre number if the unit doesn’t already have the number pre written,That’s why I prefer Hexing Ciu ,anyway, Fanya vile @gashwin na @Chiefkiumbe wamekwambia, I think the fixed charge is 200bob now though
