Whats the best private insurance company with better medical benefits?? I am contributing 500/- to NHIF but its a raw deal. I dont know why I am being told to pay for some drugs and services yet I have NHIF. Kwani kazi ya hii NHIF ni gani if its not to pay for the aforementioned?
I can pay upto 1000/- a month if its better value for money??
I honestly don’t think there’s better value for money than NHIF. It is an inadequate insurance, but in terms of value, what you get for that 500 is way too much. Utajua value yake siku utahitaji in-patient care.
Mtoi ako na zote mbili,NHIF,nalipa as a parent na private is from APA(afya nafuu).A week before he opened school he had an accident and broke the left part of his nose, kupelekwa hosi they recommended ct scan and referal to an ent specialist which nhif did not cover.APA paid for the entire amount.Only disadvantage of private insurance is you have to pay the whole yearly premiums before you start using
Ulicheswo. Nhif covers CT and Mri on the kawaida card ya 500/= so long as ni accident. Won’t be surprised if the hosi later fraudulently requested for the same after the procedure after you left
Sweep. Basically umeambiwa wewe ni kama mama ako karibu kuzaa,na huna ata Nhif so uandikishe na Ile free maternity cover (for persons with no nhif) ya gava ukazalie huko. Lol
Vumilia tu…greater packages coming up after gvt pumps In more money to supplement the forced membership. Hizo vitu zote scans etc will be free. There’s intense biometric registration going on
This is from the policy document,ya mtoi pekee is 18k p.a.,benefits include 500k inpatient and 50k outpatient cover

if you want to see the horror stories of NHIF,go to their social media pages and see the complaints from Kenyans but it also helps lakini mimi i want to have the piece of mind that wherever i travel with my son in this republic and anything happens healthcare is not an issue
Fcuk dude ati noted? so ni ukweli bado unakaa kwa mamako and you call yourself an infant?
