I thought Toyota’s have common engines with different capacities like Vvti, D4… anyway sijui mambo ya prom-box

Mumewahi ona mtu ametupa probox ati iko na shida ya engine unless it’s written off?

Dig deep huko kwa mechanics muskie. With twedi fae you have a new engine

Half engine they call it

Most of Toyota’s changed from EFI to VVTI start around 1999.They brought in Direct Injection aka D4 (which was brought to mainstream market by the famous Mitsubishi GDI) in Mid 2000 and now starting 2009/2010 they have valvematic (shares some principles with Honda VTEC).
Toyota always catches up with tested technology .Right now most of they cars have CVT starting 2010 but Nissan have been doing it in most of their transmission options.

Nissan CVT trannies are crap. Made from cheap sourced Renault parts. You will be lucky to make it to 50k km without noticing a problem on shifting on the smaller engines.

All CVT transmission require oil change after every couple of 1000 Kms ,from 20,000km - 50,000Km all depends on environment and how hard you push it.CVT is the future of transmission .

@Philip J. Fry 20000-50000 km change interval is not a couple of 1000 kms! Many people buy cars and sell them before they hit 50000 km mark.

Probably he has figured it’s cheaper to run a posho mill with it.

I have already covered 25000km kwa mwaka moja.
Most of those who sell cars too soon ni wale wanaharibia other brands jina wakisema ziko mbaya or those who love newer registration.
