First things first, I’m 5 foot 11.
My bed is a 5 by 6.
Which makes me wonder, who decided that 6 feet is the longest a bed can be? Was there, like, a conference held to arrive at that decision?
I find myself having to push my head to within an inch of the headboard so I can fit in the bed while fully stretched.
If I face such problems, then people who are 6 feet and taller must be suffering. Do you guys sleep with your legs hanging from the bed?
Do Kenyan carpenters make customized beds for tall people? If I want a 5 by 7 for example, will a carpenter make it ama he’ll tell me “kitanda hajawai pita six feet buana, that’s an abomineson.”?
Okay, making longer beds isn’t so hard I guess, but what about mattresses? Do they sell them at a length longer than 6 feet, or does one have to make a special order?
How about you mofos who’ve travelled the world, what’s the situation like? Some countries like Rwanda, Netherlands, Norway and Iceland have some really tall fuckers. Do they also have a standard bed length?
Now that I think of it, I’ve spent nights in hotels with huge ass beds, just that it didn’t hit me to take measurements. I guess such establishments must anticipate guests from all over the world, some who’ll be taller than average.
Anyway, me, myselefu, I think the constitution should be amended to make beds at least 6.5 feet long. That sounds more reasonable. What do you ghaseers think?
