Questions for the Atheist

 1. How did conciousness come from non-consciousness ?
 2. How did intelligent life come from non intelligent life?
 3. How did sexuality come from an asexual and non-sexual beginning?
 4. How did moral reason come from a non-moral framework?

Atheism is a form of mental disorder. Just like homosexuality.

A number of these things can be explained by science. Scientists admit that some cannot yet be explained, but there is no reason to jump to magic and funny middle eastern stories to explain everything. Wanting to claim to know everything without explaining it is arrogance and stupidity of the highest order.

I believe no one here claims to know everything though?

religion people claim to. Like you are attempting to pass a message here that religion has better explanation for your four questions, yet no explanation within the scope of human perception can be given by the religious.

I see you missed the point. Non of what you have stated was the intention of the question, but it seems an interpretation to the questions is at your discretion. I just want you to realise though that I is unfair to argue with a general opinion about a group of people.

hehe… If a religious person attempts to argue with logic, he/she hits a wall immediately. the only recourse for the religious is to remain irrational and emotional. You seem to have an opinion about non-believers and thats why you posted your thread.

So Rene Descartes - if you brains are just a random collection of chemicals formed by chance over billions of years, how on earth can you even trust your own logic and reasoning that comes from such Rene’s brains. The simplest way I can explain to you the concept of God is this; have you ever caught wimd in your hand, no? but can you see its effects, yes! Have you ever observed love under a microscope or seen it physically, no? but you surely have seen its nice positive and warm effects. Same goes for hatred, jelousy or anger, they are not things you can touch see but you can see and touch and witness their actions and the results thereof. Spiritual things are spiritualy discerned and the carnal mind cannot understand the things of God. Also ask yourself why children including tou, when born, are not born lifeless waiting for a certain OS to be installed in them. They already have a personality, a spirit, a purpose in this life. You think that can happen in your theory of big bang or random collection. And if so then why are all babies born in the same pattern and manner. Why were you not born of a cow or born through the nose, where did you all of a sudden get such a specific order of doing things when you started of in a random manner knowing the proven LAW OF ENTROPY : in laymans language things will tend to a state of disorder and degradation unless a independent force intervenes : like your house has to be tended to and taken care of and irregardless of whether you use it or not, if you simly don’t take measures to clen it rearrange it and so on, it will be one mess of a place - get the point?

Yes the Bible, not religion, has a better explanation. We cannot apologize for that. Truth cannot be relative, it’s either we are wrong and you are right or we are right and you are wrong. There is no rellativism to truth. It stands on its own without me, without you, without us. So yes we have a better explanation because it points out the truth of creation and God and the world as created. It’s either God has all the answers or he doesn’t. He cannot have half answers.

this is just an emotional argument. you are just ranting. that is the only recourse for the religious.

You are confusing atheist with biology professor.

You used this term too much to illustrate your case. I take pride in finding answers to existential questions in the Sanskrit and also the Bible. I once read about Mali Shamans who knew how the planets worked well before NASA went to space.

Not this shit again!

True, it is emotional because I’m human, and I can get angry, angry at your “atheistic antics” of trying to make Christians apologize for being Christians, as though we have wronged the world by holding the belief that God exists and that He is the creator of everything. And if being angry is my weakness then I boast in that weakness for it makes me human to realize that I need Jesus.
