Quitter's flu.

I have been a smoker for the last ten years or so, doing five cigs a day, to two packets depending on my mood.

Been also drinking, for the last three years almost everyday.

Due to some reasons, I decided to cut down on drinking, its been six days now and I haven’t touched a beer.

My last cigarette was two days ago, I have smoked less than five since Sunday last week. I am on the way to giving up.

But now I have this mother of all flu’s, running nose and incessant coughing.

Now my question to @Meria Mata and @dr luther.

How long will I struggle with this flu, and what can I do to mitigate it?

I am already feeling better, and my skin feels smoother and my lips are regaining their natural pink.

In a month I will know I am finally done with this evil.

Stay strong bro. The struggle is real.

usi rudi nyuma

Congrats buda usirudi Misri, tunaenda Canaan.

Hakuna mtu ashawahi vuta sigara na pombe akasema health benefits instead it’s always diseases like cancer ,diabetes and others .Keep it up comrade.

I think the Homa is a sign that the cartels(pombe na sigara)are fighting back. Accept the challenge and fight off the two cartels.ginger ,honey boiled water can work the trick

There’s. I definite duration, you’ll have to take each day as it comes. Meanwhile, make honey, cinnamon, lemon/orange & warm water your friend. Congrats on the decision, keep at it.

Cartels are fighting back, eh? Yani munataka kuingiza story ya corruption kwa hii mix muse me pombe na sigara zina corrupt mwili alafu mulaumu jubilee? :D:D

Chezea chini bana. Hii ni erections period. Hata wewe ni katero:D wa ktalk:)

Sigara na pombe hazina faida yoyote, you made a good decision to quit

Asande sana Daktari, hakuna kurudi nyuma.

I read somewhere that hii kukohoa its the lungs cleansing off, all the nicotine and tar that was stuck in the system are falling off one by one and the body is expelling them.

Its just gross to even picture that.

Maybe. But ni poa uliacha

That’s called quiting cold turkey.
There may be unpleasant side effects but am none that you can’t live with and in any case the effects get lesser and lesser by the day.
Just hang in there and resist the temptation to fall off the wagon.

Ebu niwashe kafegi hapa ii harufu ikufukie umeze mate
