He knows he has lost this. This is just to keep his worshippers hopeful, thus elongating his relevance among his community thus his nomination business
Can't be said any better.

48 laws says counter a bold move with an even bolder one. He'll witness the result of his actions from TV then call a presser. Then the new date will be announced.

Ata kama ni chuki, how can you wish death upon other people simply because they don't support your party? Be careful lest the same death visits you and your family
The same death will not visit me or my extended family. Why? because we will not go and demonstrate over issues we know nothing
about just because we have been instructed to by 'baba'.

Not the same death. Death can come in many ways. You are not alive because you are smart and don't do stupid things like going for demonstrations. Shit happens. Looks at what happened to Gakuru for example or the Jubilee team in the chopper that crashed.

Yeah yeah don't sweat it. We will all die eventually. Doesn't mean we should go out and actively seek death.

Okay....it's a complicated issue because police should not be killing rioters in the first place but I guess it doesn't matter. Those kikuyus who got killed in 07-08 post elections were also actively seeking death according to you that's why they died.
