You got it wrong but, we really needed rain, I hard a tough time in nbo a couple months back, the heat was unbearable and I sat thinking to myself. All the years, as far as I recall, we’ve always enjoyed good weather, are we turning into a desert?
Anyways besides the point, the vumbi and matope thing is reference to the make up girls put in their face and the effects of rain on them.

One of the hugest protests I have ever witnessed. They caused a lot of commuter problems for us mere mortals. I nearly missed 3 v important appointments as the traffic got diverted all over the place.
Quite a number of them were arrested. They have been peaceful but it is still against the law.
