Rare Historic Photos

Whats your take??

Photographs from the archives have a special value to them. They often allow us to peer directly into the past and gain some sense of how things really were in a time long before we were born. Some of them are so startling or fascinating that you can’t help but think to yourself “Is this actually real?”

Awesome, I have seen residential houses been moved, but didn’t know if such a building can be moved and maintain it’s integrity.

Who convinced them that they could only test the vest if someone had it on

That image of gas station taken in 1924 is clearer and has color than that image of 5MB HDD being loaded onto the plane

yes it’s the new technology where those old black/white photos are imaged in colour.

Couldnt they do the ballistic test with a dead body?

This shooting of the Indiana Jones really fascinated me

That seal of Tut… amazing!!

MARILYN MONROE was dryfry material

Marilyn Monroe had six toes on one foot. Others say its a myth propagated by the photographer Joseph Jasgur. How true was this???

Does it mean ile ya Ruaka can be moved and salvaged?
