There is a lady pastor mhindi who gives her testimony of dropping out of school and moving in with fellow drug addicts. Her mother looked for her, returned her home and used to even go out and buy drugs for her so that she would not end up on the streets. The mother was praying night and day for her. She was using all drugs but God not only changed her but made her a pastor.

I know many Indians who are Christians and most of them have such stories where their mothers unconditional love and prayers brought them back from the brink of destruction.

As I always say your prayers can reach where you can not humanly reach. At times even strictness may not save a child who is getting lost in drugs and delinquency. Love and prayers work because alot of the time, a child who is in bondage already feels hopeless, confused and lonely. So if you become hard on them you are isolating the child further pushing them to wrong people who will worsen the situation.


This case of this boy has really saddened me on how the enemy can exploit a small loophole to bring alot of unimaginable destruction. Currently my adopted son is in a cult but because he's an adult I just pray God will give him the revelation he needs to leave coz I don't want to bring a rift between us by trying to force him to leave it. I believe in prayer more than in confrontations and ultimatums.

When I was growing up I was at loggerheads with my mom and its very painful to not get along with a parent and Satan will always bring very bad thoughts to your mind that your parent hates you or loves others more than you but because I am a Christian I took my frustration to God in prayer and things improved to the point where a day can't pass without my mother talking to me.

If you have a problematic child, don't take a hard line stance, pray and show them love. The way I've seen this parent child problems it's just Satan, it's spiritual and it needs a spiritual approach. The devil comes to steal, kill and destroy but if you invite God to the situation He will stop the devil in his tracks.

Job was always praying for his children and when the devil would try to get near them, the angel of God would rebuke him. Satan could not touch Jobs kids, without permission from God. That is the power of a praying parent.

The world we are living in now has so much evil that as a parent all you can do is to pray for God to protect your children bcz Satan is like a roaring lion looking for who to devour. With daily prayers you can avert alot of evil from reaching your children. In this world of now there's just too too much evil that you can not survive without prayers whether you are single, married or a parent. Leaving your house with out prayers is like walking out naked. The atmosphere now is full of evil, it's like evil has been poured out on earth. Survival depends on God now, not on your wisdom, your mask or your plans. Ni kubaya wapendwa. These are just signs of the time. It's only prayers that will save the situation. Ukiona mtoto anapotoka Kimbia kwa mlima umuombe coz ni kubaya my frens. Ni kubaya. If you allow the devil a foothold he will finish you and your posterity. Don't take anything negative lightly coz the times are bad.

Disobedient to parents

Satan works overtime to destroy Christian homes, because that is where children should see the reality of Christ in the parents and their relationships and where they should come to know Christ and be trained in His ways. Nothing will sour kids on the faith more than seeing repeated hypocrisy in their “Christian” parents.
Many parents do not train their children to be obedient. They allow toddlers to be defiant and disobedient, without any penalty or consequences. As the child grows older, the parents become increasingly alarmed at their disobedience, so they slap on more rules. But that is backwards. The younger the child, the more you should enforce obedience to the rules. Then, as the children learn to obey your authority, you can back off on the rules as they mature. By the time they are teenagers, they should be living under the lordship of Christ, so that you have very few rules of your own.

Job 1:4 and 5 tell us that Job sacrificed for his children, just in case they sinned against God:

KJV Job 1:4 [And/Now] his sons went and feasted in their houses, every one his day; and sent and called for their three sisters to eat and to drink with them.
KJV Job 1:5 And it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about, that Job sent and [sanctified/consecrated] them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all:
for Job said,
It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts.
Thus did Job continually.​

Job’s Children Liked Each Other
So, apparently Job’s sons would have all of their siblings over to eat. And this was a regular pattern. Each of the seven sons would have the nine other siblings over. I’m not sure if this was happening every day of every week or if it was spread out throughout a month – but the point is that they would be eating at each other’s houses. They liked each other! They had a good family relationship.
Job Was Concerned for His Children’s Spiritual Wellbeing
But the even bigger point is that Job was concerned for them. Yes – they had a really good relationship with one another. But you know what Job was more concerned for? That they had a good relationship with God.
Job Was a Family Priest
He would sacrifice for them – just in case they sinned. He was acting as a priest for them – which reinforces the idea that they were outside of Israel and before the Mosaic Law. If they lived in Israel under the Mosaic Law, then the law prescribed priests in a Tabernacle or Temple. Job here is just sacrificing to the true God – but he’s doing it by himself outside any Temple. He’s a priest for his family.
He could be happy enough with his riches and his family. But he’s most concerned about the spiritual aspects of life.
