Xiaomi is like a talker who uses multiple handles.

This is the same device as the Redmi 9 power which is also a Poco M3 with a different designed camera. So nothing new here.

Xiaomi only launches like 3 unique phones and then rebrands them to 20 other phones while mixing and matching components. It’s the most notorious company in rebranding existing phones into new ones.

Not a bad phone but the Snapdragon 662 is built on a 11 nanometer process but it’s performance is no different to snapdragon 660. Both use Cortex A73 for the big cores and Cortex A53 for the smaller cores. The benefit in power consumption is really marginal for 11 nm vs 14nm.

My problem is Sd 660 was released in 2017… It was an awesome processor back in the day. But I don’t see why I should be using essentially the same processor in 2021 for the same price. SD 662 should have moved to Cortex A76/ Cortex A55… It’s a waste of space. Or it should be relegated to cheaper phones with a price tag of 11K-13K. There are some GPU improvements but sionagi maana ya 662 kwa simu inauzwa close to 20K.

Not many people think in that line. Kuna watu simu ni social media tu. Not a cpu consuming activity is it.
Hii ni ya hao watu.
Mimi hata 64gb kwa simu ni kidogo kwangu. To others ni mob

Very true. Companies like Xiaomi know most of their customers hata hawajui kuna online reviewers or sites like GSMarena. Most of them walk in buy tthe store without knowing which phone they are going to buy and with little persuasion from the sales rep they end up with a Xiaomi and walk away. That’s why things like having a big battery matter a lot. Some talkers belong to this category of people.

For me, I have never listened to a sales rep unless they are giving me an offer.

We hear you Chief Fabricator at TSMC.
